About Natalie
I’m a screenwriter, creative producer, and travel journalist based in Los Angeles. I’m currently the Co-Executive Producer, Screenwriter, and Managing Director of New Power Studios, a new-media production company creating cinematic short-form storytelling for digital platforms.
Our first project, BlackVeil, is a scripted anthology blending thriller, sci-fi, and psychological drama. It’s a series that explores how technology reshapes our fears and identities. I co-write and produce each episode, overseeing casting, locations, and production from development through final cut.
Before New Power Studios, I worked at film festivals including the Santa Barbara International Film Festival, AFI Fest, and the Abu Dhabi International Film Festival, where I also served as a filmmaker liaison. I later transitioned into public relations, producing digital content for international brands.
As a journalist, my writing has been published in the Los Angeles Times, Travel + Leisure, and Food & Wine. In 2024, I scripted the American Heart Association’s national commercial, which aired during the Summer Olympics.
I’m a proud writing mentor with WriteGirl, a nonprofit that empowers teens through creative writing. I hold an MFA in Screenwriting from the American Film Institute and dual BAs in English and Film from UC Santa Barbara.
I’m represented by Zero Gravity Management for film and television writing.
